Default Truck dies when I turn to tight

I have a 03 Dodge Ram 1500 QCab 4x4. Whenever I do a tight turn at slow speeds the truck will die. It just stated this problem a few days ago. The only thing that I have done to it recently was change the oil and oil filter. I replaced the cam position sensor to stop my truck from idling rough and stalling at stop signs. Any help with the dying when I do tight turns would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Bryan

My truck used to do it on occasion. Always seemed to be when cutting the wheel hard but for some reason only in reverse. Used to be it did it almost every time when cutting hard backing my boat in a tight spot.

For some reason, and I have NO CLUE why, it stopped doing it after I put in a 180* thermostat & efan. ONLY change I had made when it stopped stalling. Dunno if it was the stat or the fan (I'd have to guess the fan) but I can cut the hell out of it in reverse ever since and it's NEVER stalled since the change and it's been six years now since I made those two changes.

Is your transmission fluid low? When mine was low, it would drop RPM's during a slow stop. Like when I was turning, then it would stall. So, when I topped it off. Never had that issue.

Thanks. I'll check and see if that helps.

I personally would be thinking power steering pump, isn't there a sensor on there so when its under a load it increases the idle a bit?
