If you get a chance, start it, turn the overdrive off and go for a spin. If it works normal, the OD clutches are gone (I had to drive my truck this way until I got a replacement trans).

Thanks, I read a few threads before posting and found similar to what you posted.
The o/d tow/haul makes no change at all.

Thanks for trying though, I truly appreciate it.
I'll be dropping her off at a transmission place on Monday, Hopefully I won't have to shoot her.

Does $2300 seem out of whack for a rebuild?
With 18 Month, 18000 mile warranty?

Ugh.
Transmission rebuild lasted...2 days.
Now first and reverse are slipping and I think the overdrive is gone.

Any chance the shop didn't put the filter o-ring in correctly?

To add insult to injury, they are apparently closed all this week ? WTH ?

so bring it back to the shop that did the rebuild and tell them to fix it... it sounds like there is a problem with the Torque Management System in there somewhere, possibly a failed Torque Converter or something telling the system to release it into neutral.

Did you ever have the PCM reprogrammed? If so they might have inputted the wrong gear ratios into the program thus causing this issue...

Did they do a quick learn for the trans after the rebuild?

Quite simply, your tranny is toast. Time for a rebuild. If you're really strapped for cash, try a used transmission. You can pick one up for around $400 shipped. I've dealt with these guys before, they are friendly and ship super fast: hxxp://trade1503.car-part.com/ Talk to Zach.
