Default ugh! door window off track?

While on a road trip the passenger side door window fell a few inches into the door. i managed to get it back up but now it rattles etc.

I got home tonight and when i shake the door back and forth the sound is coming from the right side of the door.

Before i pull the panel, and look...is this a common issue with these rams? (2003) Im hoping this isnt going to be some overpriced plastic piece..

prob an overpriced piece of plastic. The glass is sandwiched in the track by 2 thin pieces of plastic that gets tightened up. i believe there is 3m tape to grab the window as well. Either the nut came loose or your plastic thingy wore down and needs to be replaced. You can probably rig something up that is just as useable as the factory part.
these door panels are duper easy to pull off. 3 screws and they lift up and off. takes less than 5min and no snap connectors to break. Very easy/nice design.

No snap clips? Sweet! Does the "plastic thingys" apply with manual windows? I wonder if i can find them online from a oem store. Id hate going into the dealers and try explaining what i need when i dont know what they are called. lol
