Worth it? Cortex locked

I have a Cortex 3950 hand held. It is locked. I lost the programmer years ago and traded the vehicle away. Now I just acquired another Ram and SC wants 100 bucks to unlock. Is it worth it to unlock it or are there better options ?

It's worth it. You can download all the current programs for free after it is unlocked instead of having to buy another one.
