It is one of many I researched while awaiting my truck. As with all covers, it had some things I liked and others I didn't. If there is a perfect cover, I didn't find it.
As I recall, the Retrax was like most in that the framework clamps onto the pickup bed and I'm not a fan of any cover that doesn't bolt on. I also had some doubts about plastic, "Lexan" or not. Despite its use in aircraft windshields it does occasionally crack; remember a recent news article? And, I suspect repeated bending would not be conducive to longlife. I don't recall the price exactly, but it seems it was more than I thought a plastic, clamp-on cover should be, especially compared with the various aluminum covers.
After all was said and done, I opted for a bolt-on, folding aluminum. It's not perfect, either.
All the best, no matter what you get.
