all dealer said on service report was "possible internal motor damage"
didn't give me any codes
i did change the oil and it felt clean,didn't feel anything(i rubbed my fingers through oil)
will try new sensor in a few days(when weather warms up a bit)

I don't understand. You pulled the old one out, and didn't take another few minutes to replace it?? I would be dying to know if that was the problem!!!

metal shavings were on/around sensor, at the tip back about 1 inch
real fine ,small, pieces

saw the shavings around sensors and figured there was something definitely wrong so didn¨t bother trying new 1

"Around" meaning outside of the part of the sensor that makes contact with the cam or inside?

when you pull sensor out,metal shavings were on the end of the sensor,which sits inside motor
put new sensor in
new oil and filter was already added
should i add 2 quarts extra ? (and what does that do ?)
will be trying to start it tomorrow (wednesday)

NO DO NOT "ADD 2 EXTRA QUARTS"!!!!

Just leave the drain plug off and pour two quarts in and let it drain out before closing it up and filling it up with 7 quarts.

NEVER OVERFILL YOUR OIL!

I actually am having the same issues. I just bought a new crankshaft position sensor this weekend because its so freakin' cold here, its getting installed at a shop right now. I will let you know who it goes, but I would go down that road also.
