I have a 07 Ram 1500. The blower works ok but recently when you change the settings on the blower switch it either won't change or only partially changes. If I go from front vents to defrost it may go right to defrost but it may also go half feet/half defrost. This happens on most of the settings.

Any idea on what i can check into?

So if the vehicle is turned on, the setting that it is at originally will work properly and only when you change it it does not switch all the way?

Likely not the blower switch. You probably have the dreaded blend door problem.

I'm having the same problem but I was told it is the defrost door. Did anyone figure this out and come up with some part numbers?

I found this guy that put up a TSB for his 03 ram defrost door repair but I wanted to make sure it was the same part numbers before I dug into it. Click the link for TSB and pictures of the repair.

By the way if it is just the blend door for our 2007 then it is available through doorman. I found it on O'reilly auto parts website.
