so i have a 2wd 2007 dodge ram and i decided to go and put a 1.5 inch leveling kit spring spacer on. well ive done manyyyyy in the past and have been pertty sucessful at it, well ive failed miserably on this one. i could not get the tierod to come off with a sledge hammer of a ball joint press nor could i get the sping to come out, no matter what i did i could not get the spring to com out in the first place, so i need some help, those of you that have done this, have u had any problems with it, im thinkin of just paying someone the money to do it wich i dont but i have no clue what to do...

 

no clue why its giving u issues but i know from my expereinces when i try to do something on my own and run into trouble and get aggravated i usually wind up making things worse. I would bolt it up and bring it to a proshop. let them mess with it.

 

When I take pop loose my BJs and tie rods, I always use a pitman arm puller to push them up and out
