Default Window only works from driver side

I know there are lots of posts regarding this issue, however, I am stumped. I have an 04 Ram 1500 4x4 quad cab, My problem: Windows will only operate from the drivers master control. I have taken the following actions to try and correct the problem
1. Cleaned and greased the window lock switch
2. Re-soldered the window lock pins as mine were cracked as seen in some of the posts
3. tried to bypass the window lock by connecting the orange/light blue wire with the main power wire (yellow and pink)
4. bought a new master control unit

After all of these steps my windows will still only work from the drivers control. If i am rolling the other windows down or up using the drivers switch and try to use the passenger switches at the same time the windows will stop moving so I believe that they are getting some sort of signal but I am stumped as to what I can look for next. Can anyone throw some suggestions this way I don't care if i cannot lock the windows anymore just as long as the passengers don't have to bother me to roll down their windows for them

I had a similar thing and it turned out it was one of the main harness plugs going into the back of the driver master control panel.
If I wiggled the harness, the windows would work.
I tightened up the connectors by opening the pins up with a small screwdriver in them.
Just very small amounts and then an electrical solvent spray clean.
Job sorted :-))

Ruddigger,

Let me know if Abarmby's suggestion solves your problems. If you have additional inquiries feel free to PM me. I can review your VIN# to see if there is any further assistance I can provide.

Okay I tried 5 things now, I tightened the pins on the the harness plugs but still nothing happened, i did not have any spray but would it make any difference? any other suggestions, I heard that there is a wire that runs under the carpet that splits threeways to the other windows that sometimes gets corroded, anyone else hear this??

Try pulling the boot between the door and check the wires that's where most people have problems

It's Wouk window lock button. Either replace the whole window switch on the driver door. Or you can by pass the window lock switch by cutting a certain wire and soldering it to another wire. My truck had this problem. Along with 4 others I know personally.
