if 1 control, like on mine, i noticed that with the actuator taken off it's mounting, and the fan turned on hi, the blend doors will slam to heat, on lo to no airflow, they will revert to bypass.
this actuator is on the passenger side, roughly to the left of the glove box. you may be able to get to it by removing the climate control panel, the cup holder, and the plastic that holds the ashtray.

if your heater hoses are hot.........and, only on high, provided the pivot points of the dampers are in good shape. i don't see why not. although, you may get blasted out of your truck.
it is possible your actuator for the blend door quit.
you should be able to swap it with another.
or possibly, it's getting a signal to stay in the bypass mode.
if the problem is the blend dampers.

i have disabled the recirc/fresh air motor in the recirc. mode while diagnosing my ram's problems.
as a previous poster said, my windows do fog up.
i'll reattach the harness sometime.

you had the box out. you should have seen the dampers.
from right to left.
A) recirc/fresh air damper
B) heat/bypass - or more commonly known as blend - there are 2. On single temp, these are linked together
C) floor/vent
D) vent/defrost

i just unscrewed it enough so that i could pull old core out and slip new core in so i never saw anything. i kept telling myself i should look at them and make sure they were fine so if they needed fixing i could do it but nope i was rushing

so another update...took a few things off so i could get to the actuator and when i turn the know from hot to cold the arm moves with no issues. i also noticed there is deff a temp change when doing this so that means the door is working. so its possible one of the other doors is messed up or i have a air pocket in the line. i noticed today my coolant jug is about half way down and i bad filled it all the way up last night. this leans to an air pocket. i am currently doing another bleed test, i have the rad cap off and its running now. will update again once i fill it all back up
