well guys ive had it and the truck is going. parting some stuff out, not much but i have a single 12" sub box for under the seat 02-08 quad cab just about brand new barely used, and 2 10" sub boxes for under the seats as well. have the dash kit and wiring harness also. 4.7 cold air intake and i think thats about it. i will post in classifieds also with pics. thanks guys

 

Got a heating issue. Air is blowing fine, heater core hot on both sides, warm on passenger side, cold on driver side. Troubleshot all mode doors and even manually operating them myself these are the results I get. What's next?

 

have you verified that that is the case on all settings (vent, vent + floor, floor, defrost + floor, Defrost, etc. etc.)?

 

i just wanted to let everyone know that the new owner brought it to the dealer and it had a bad head gasket. problem should finally be solved

 

Try to think back, what did YOU do or what might the truck have done itself when coming up to temp that might have directed coolant into the cylinders? I got my 98 when it was a year old dirt cheap because they said there was something wrong with the engine but when ever they looked for the problem it wasn't there. Only when the owner was driving it. I bought it with NO warranty. I found some nitwit had switched the windshield washer hose with the vacuum hose to the brake booster. Every time you hit the washer the engine sucked in washer fluid and shuttered and steamed out the exhaust. When I was a kid my dad used to bring florida cars with no titles up to MA to sell at the auction. Some had no heaters. If you're going to sell it, sell it in Miami and get full price. : )
