Default Speed Sensor & 4 wheel drive

This summer I replaced the front right wheel bearing hub assembly on my 2007 Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4X4 4.7L. After the job was done I found that the speed sensor connection on the hub didn't match the one on the truck. I called my local dealer and the tech said as long as I wasn't getting any error messages I should be ok. Didn't think much about it until I went to engage the 4 wheel drive and the indicator light just kept blinking. I am trying get some solid info on whether the speed sensor is resposible for the 4 wheel drive engagement problem. I need to try and get some compensation if I have to remove this wheel bearing hub assembly for the correct one. Thanks in advanced.
