Default oem to aftermarker dodge tow mirrors

I am looking at buying dodge tow mirrors that are called kool vue, they look the same as stock dodge mirrors, just wondering if anybody knew if there is a difference besides a brand dodge name for any other aftermarket mirrors.

A common issue with non-OEM tow mirrors is the vibration of the glass. Haven't done this to my truck (yet), but the consensus is this is one thing that shelling out for the OEMs is worth it.

I have aftermarket eBay ones and yes the glass does shake. I wedged a piece of black rubber between the glass and the outer frame and now it doesn't.

You can find OEM one's for $280-$360shipped depending on your options.
They really arent much more than aftermarkets.
I'd hate to wedge something between my mirror after spending a couple hundred bucks. I'd spend the extra money and get OEM if I were buying. if you cant swing the expense I can understand.

When I looked at the Cool-Vue mirrors I found out the mirror is plastic NOT glass. Plastic not good if you have to scrape them in the winter and the lighter plastic will vibrate and shake more at highway speed. Spend the extra money and get OEM!
