Default Brake Pad Life ?

Curious as to what kind life you guys have gotten out of your factory brake pads?

Now to the bragging, I have 171,000 miles on my '08 ram and still running the ones that came on the truck new. I've inspected both sides on the front within the last 2 weeks as I have had 2 replace both wheel bearing hub assemblies and both look like I'll get 200,000 miles out of them.

By the way on the bearing hub assemblies, Orielly's on the driver side was $239 and 1Aauto.com was $94.95 for the passengers side. Time will tell how either last, but right now I'm a big fan of 1Aauto! Ordered it on Monday and it was here before 3 on Wednesday, 30 minutes to install.
The local shop wanted $360-$375 to replace each and as I found out, if one goes out the other will be soon to follow.

i have 100k on the originals and still look fine, if you brake early and coast alot they will last a long time on any vehicle, now if your a late braker like most, they take a beating.

Yeah, brake pad wear is SO subjective to so many different things.
