Question Rough Idle and then stalls

Hello everyone,I am hoping someone might be able to give some insight. I have a 2006 2500 w/ 5.7 hemi, 93,000 miles, the RPM's have started to randomly fluxuate when it is idleing (only when in drive) and then it will start to shake and ultimately die (normally at an intersection when i am trying to start off). I took it into a dealership and they said it was the TB. So i took it home cleaned the TB, changed the spark plugs, changed the wires, its not thowing codes, and as I have read changing the EGR valve is normally a good place to go next, except I dont have one so im at a loss. If anyone has any idea i would apreceate any ideas?!?!? Thanks

^Yes you do have one, look at the link.

Replace it and see if your problem goes away.

unless they changed something. Looking at the engine its on the front of the L head. (passenger side). Its round and bolts directly to the head. Let us know if this fixes your issue

I will post a picture shortly.. However there isn't an EGR valve on the truck, there were some models that didn't have them, I even took it to a mech just to make sure I wasn't loosing it but its not there, also if you run the VIN in the system it shows as not having one as well.

has someone done a trans flush with filter. There have been cases where the filter is not installed correctly and causes what your describing.

It could be a Clogged fuel filter...once the engine is in drive it has more suction which will pull the dirt and stop the fuel from getting past and cause it to idle rough and or stall

After doing some research I found that some of the HD models didnt have them installed on them.

I pulled the fuel filter/pump and replaced it and there has been no change in the issue, but I had been meaning to do it just in case anyway because my old 2500 V10 had them go out at 100,000 miles.

The dealer ship did flush my tranny, however I was having this problem before they did it, I had them change it when i took it into them hopping that they would fix the issue.

There had been no codes up to today, however, when I was driving back from work today my check engine light came on, I stoped by auto zone and had them read it for me and it came up with P0303. now I know that that is cylinder #3 misfire, the plugs and the wires have less then 300 miles on them and after pulling the plug it is has the proper spacing and nothing looks amiss. I really am at a loss now any ideas?

thank you

Well i can't help you now...the only thing i could think of is that the spark plug is not firing or isn't giving off enough spark...or it could be that the firing order is messed up not sure though....good luck though
