Default 2004 RAM 1500 Quad Cab Hemi problems

Hello all, this is my first time on this forum but I've exhausted all other resources so I figured this would be worth a try. The other day I was driving down the interstate and got about 25 miles when my truck started to make an awful clicking noise from under the hood on the passenger side. Then it slowed way down and would not allow me to accelerate. After I pulled over and stopped, it would not start again. Here is a link to a video a took of the sound it's currently making:

Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks for your time

check coolant full? check for coolant in oil. If that is good do a compression check. Do a search on here for compression check. Or download the manual from Weed.

I did notice some brown build up in the oil cap. And over the last few days it has been running a little hotter than usual, but would low coolant cause it not to crank at all?

If that were an old car I'd say your timing is out. That can't be the case here unless you messed with your timing chain.

I mentioned that, possiable blown head gasket. Which is where the compression check will come in, to hekp you pin point which cylinder.

First--------before you make that sickening sound again, pull the plugs, all of them and check the plugs for anythingthat doesn't look right. . My first guess is that the engine is near seized but Why?

Try rotating it over by hand, if it feels relatively free, try rolling it over with the starter. If its tight---------get your wallet out, something let go

Good Luck, I hope this works out.

I just noticed a 2 wire plug directly behind the air compressor that smokes when trying to start. Any ideas what that is and if that could cause the issue?

Any chance this could be caused by a bad ECM?
