Did't do anything with the key on-off on-off on-off-on deal...

Was that exactly how they displayed? because I cant find anything to help on that one b/c there aren't any C-Codes listed with decimal points....

was it listed like this:

5 11
6 28
1C 44
7

or something along those lines?

Decimal is always there on the numbers that appeared on the far right of the screen as that's part of the odometer screen that its reading out on I guess..
They appeared like this:
5 11.6 (1st screen)
28.1 (2nd)
c 44.7 (last)

that is interesting... those numbers don't correspond to anything I have listed for C-Codes.... might definitely be something wrong with the TIPM system or possibly another part of the electrical system.

We would need DRBIII scanner to check those codes.... you might want to make a quick trip to the dealer and see what their scanners say.

Maybe Im missing something here. If this was a one time thing, why are you still chasing it? If you cannot consistently repeat the problem, then dont worry about it

If your CEL isnt on, quit chasing your tail. IC cluster codes are not diagnostic codes.

I figured no sweat for now but I am curious as to what the codes are. Not sure I want to pay big buck yet tho..
But, I did have a weird experience the other day at a stop light; with clutch in and prob in neutral as well, truck started to act like it was running outta gas tho I had more the half a tank. Easy to rev out of it but made we think what it was. Time for throttle body cleaning, i thought since never done it and I have 78000 easy freeway miles on it..

If you have CEL on and want codes, either get a tuner (Superchips) or let an auto parts store connect their scanner to it

But if you dont have a CEL on, then there are no DTC codes to pull

No CEL but what were all those numbers that read off when I did the key thing? Oh, and all the Auto Parts chains claim there's some law in Calif. that forbids them from coming out and hooking up to get codes. Something about how they're not a licensed repair facility. Sucks

There was a member here awhile back that i think had a similar issue. He ended up pulling off the airbag to find dried up ketchup and crumbs behind there. Guess he was a fastfood junkie..lol
Theft-deterrent will not produce a continuous cycle to the horn. It's a pulsed circuit.
A stuck horn relay or contact will only cause that. Since you have a TIPM, there are no stuck relays. I would check your contacts in the steering wheel behind the airbag.

Thanks, I'll check it out. Oh, any opinion on the possibility that it might be corrosion at the harness plug at the horn? I still need to look at that too...
