Default 4.7 to 5.7 swap

Hello my name is justin I'm new to dodge and know very little about them grew up around Chevys I have a 2008 1500 4x4 lifted 6" (suspension) with 35x12.5 the truck has a 4.7 flex fuel in it and the other day I went off roading in it and blew the motor and instead of putting a 4.7 back in it I want to drop the 5.7 hemi in it like I said I'm new to dodge and have no clue if this is possible and if it is what year hemi motor should I try to use that will fit my original transmission and what kind of electronics will I have to swap thanks for the help

Best bet is find a donor truck with a hemi in it, you will need just about everything, including wiring harnesses, computers and god knows what small parts.

Also the 5.7 uses electronic throttle control, so you will need to deal with that.

No conversion kit. You will be doing all the wiring and mechanical modifications necessary unless you pay someone else to do it.
