Default New to Forum - need some help...

Have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 5.7 Hemi. 160,000 miles. Started running hot, got code P2181 last night so replace thermostat. Noticed there wasn't much fluid in the system when doing so. This morning took to get cooling system flushed and found out radiator had leak down the side. Replace radiator. Still running hot. They are now putting another new thermostat in. Does anyone have any other suggestions if this doesn't work please?

Could be an air bubble in the cooling system.

Yes this is 1999 DODGEZILLA the next thing I would probably look at in which I can be almost certain it could be is the fan clutch you can still use same fan, change it out !!!

1 post from 8 years ago. Quite likely this has been fixed...... and it's highly likely he will never see this post either. Please don't resurrect long-dead threads.
