Looking to get yet another 4.7L engine for my dodge which is the best site to get a reliable relatively low milage engine from?

Thanks, I happened to look through here yesterday after i posted this and saw someone else had posted about this before. I think im gonna search the junkyards and get it rebuilt at the machine shop that has taken care of my engines so far. thanks again for the help

I'd just save myself the machine shop time and $$$ and buy a new engine from Jasper... there are Jasper Engine Dealers ALLLLLLL over the place.

I can get the heads and block for 450 then the machine work at the engine shop is about 1600. I install all my engines. I looked at jasper engines before but i just cant swing over 4k for an engine

I hear ya... all good, I like the fact that you get a warranty on the engine though.

If I was you, I'd have the 4.7L beefed up with some better bearings, and throw in some better valve springs... hell I might even just go a lil overboard and go .010 or .020 over....

goin .30 over, upgraded valve springs, forged pistons, and a bigger radiator
