Default Need some help!

I came out of work last night with a temperature of 10 below zero, and when I started my 2003 hemi ram it had a rough idle and stayed at 1800 rpm with the red lightning bolt flashing in the instrument panel. I turned it off and restarted it with the same problem, so I let it idle fast until the motor started warming up. Shut it down again, restarted and then idled normal at 600 rpm's. After I drove home I did the key trick for the codes and it gave me 2112, 2111, 2106. Which I believe is the electric throtle control. Has anyone else had this problem? And what was the fix? Thanks for the help!

Not sure what the fix is but found this info.

The P2106 sets when the engine controller has to limit RPM due to an electric throttle control concern.

P2111 sets when the throttle body control motor inside can't physically open the throttle blade, and the P2112 sets when it can't physically close. These two codes also point directly to a failed throttle body or something that is binding the blade.

With all the codes you have set I would have a look at the throttle blade and the wiring to the throttle body, and if all looks ok I'd have little reservation of replacing the throttle body.

I would guess the cold probably seized the motor or throttle plate rod or something allong those lines. Pull the TB and clean it up with non chlorinated brake cleaner, see if that doesn't help, also while you got the connection apart make sure its clean and coat with a LITTLE silicone grease

Thanks for the replies, I had cleaned the throtle body about 4000 miles ago. And the wire going to the ETC looks fine so I went ahead and replaced the ETC itself. So far so good, but only time will tell. Thanks again!!
