Changing Stock head unit to an Alpine CDA 9847 Ignition Problem
So today i wanted to change my stock head unit to an alpine cda 9847 i got all the wiring diagrams and i put it in. ITs worked but the problem was it wouldnt turn off and i didnt no what to put the Can Buss to so i didnt put it to anything. But i used the switch on to direct power like an idiot. But then i put the orange and white wire the can buss postive to it the switch on wire (red) and it wouldnt even turn on. Can someone plz help me before i loose my mind. All i need is to someone to tell what colors need to go were so it can turn off when my truck turns off. BTW i got a DoDge ram 1500 st. thanks
It's not actually but maybe the wires are the same. What wire went to the turn on wire on the receiver??

the red wire connects to the ignition and turns on the unit.
the yellow connects directly to the battery and uses low power to maintain saved settings, radio stations, and clock time. things like that.
black is obviously ground.
and i believe orange is for illumination. so the unit dims with your factory dimmer for the cluster and stuff
