Question Which Tie Rod Brand??

I was going to replace the outer tie rods and was going to go with Moog, however, I notice the movotech's are cheaper. Would I be ok going with the MT's?

Im gonna catch flak for this but here goes............I just today replaced my rack and pinion and noticed that my right tie rod end was alittle outta spec so I went to advanced auto to see what they had. They showed me the Moogs for $60 a side and then showed me there Driveworks brand for $23 a side. Made in China!!! But the Driveworks had a grease fittings were the Moogs did not. So I went with the Chinese ones for that reason alone. I really hate to buy things like that made in China but for the price and the fact I can grease them whenever I feel like it I guess I"ll take the chance.

I'd like to see the zerk fittings on mine too. I thought the Moogs had em. I'm kinda leaning towards the Mevotechs with zerks.

I took the Moog numbers and cross referenced on ebay and bought my lower BJs there. They were not much but have been great.

Put the Moog's on today. Had to use a 4 lbs. sledge and hit the outer spindle area to get the old out. Didn't take long at all.

Did you have to remove the shock when you put the upper arm in?
