I don't know if it's the sensor or the wiring harness; I suspect the latter. Where the wires make the 90 degree turn into the plug, it looks like the wires there are frayed and likely shorted out.

I can find the sensor part easily, but I think I need the wiring harness that goes from the sensor to the control unit.

Does anyone know if there's a part number for that harness or where I might get one?
