Help Electrical Issue
I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 5.7 liter Hemi Yesterday my rear brake lights would not turn off i let it stay on overnite and was going to get it check out today. i knew i was going to have to jump start it today so i tried the first time i tried i heard the it trying to turn over the second time i heard the clicking sound now all interior lights as well as headlights and brake lights are are out. the only thing on is a small circular red indicator on the right side of the dash board flashing
So you were not able to jump start it? or you tried to jump start it but nothing is happening?
Can you grab a picture of the red indicator that is flashing?
Since you are new here you will have to use a website photobucket to host the picture and post it here.

Your brake lights are most likely an issue with the switch, which is located on the brake pedal... Just swap it and be done.. your battery issues are likely caused by a bad connection at the battery, by both the cables when you attempted to jump it, and now with the terminal connection.. maybe corroded? If not, your battery is likely a goner.. I'm willing to bet you can get a good connection with the cables and ensure the terminal is connected and free of corrosion, you can get that booger started..
