Default Helping determine heater core, blend door(s) or HVAC switch?

Vehicle is a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4.7L NON dual climate. I know there are tons of posts on this, but I'm hoping you guys can help me determine what all to order ahead of time before digging into the dash. I just got the truck out of the shop and now I have minimal heat on defrost, across the whole dash. As well, when I select the vent and/or floor setting, I get no heat on the driver side, but good heat on the passenger side. Volume is there for both driver and passenger side, just no heat on the driver side. Cycling from full heat to full cold makes it noticeably colder. Is this likely just blend doors, or possibly heater core as well? I would assume if there was no heat on drivers side for vent and floor that defrost would be the same. I swear I can smell coolant now too, but that could be my brain making it up! I was planning on a flush and replacing the rad and lines anyway later this spring with the truck being 11 years old, so I threw some flush in already today hoping that it may clear up any blockage in the core. Thanks in advance for pointing me in the right direction so I can hopefully only remove (if necessary to go that far) the dash once.
