Default Another blower motor issue

Four days ago I bought am 08 Ram 1500 SLT Quad-cab from the local dealership. Everything worked fine. The next day at lunch, no blower motor. All fuses are good, re-seated everything in the fuse box, but still no blower. Leave work, it's shooting icicles at me. Through the weekend and this morning, everything is fine, but at lunch, again no blower motor. I've wiggled the key, and moved the steering wheel to no effect. It seems to be happening when the temp in the cabin goes up during the day and function returns as the temp drops in the later hours. Does this still sound like the ignition switch or resistor issue, or something different?

Bring it back to the dealership right now.... why would you even screw with it? They should fix it for you without any problem... Longer you wait the less likely they will help you.

Please tell me you bought it from a Dodge Dealership though...?

If you bought it from somewhere else and they try to make you use their shop just tell them you would prefer to take it to a dealership on their dime.

It was GMC dealership. I'm trying to get them to agree to the fix, but worst case scenario, I'm stuck with it and will need to fix it myself.

After work I got under the dash and messed with the two plugs on the motor. As soon as I barely moved the power connector, blower comes on. It seemed like it wasn't completely seated. Hopefully this was all that was wrong. We'll see how long it last.

Hopefully it was just a loose connecter but another check of the wires might be a good idea. Take another look to see if any wires are cracked or rubbed bare just in case.

The wires look to be in good shape. However I did notice that the wires are bound together with, what looks like good old fashioned black electric tape. This is my first Dodge, so I'm not sure how "factory", that may be.

It's possible but not likely, I bet someone took the blower motor out and broke the connector... they are easy enough to replace, you just need a special tool (depends on the connector type) to remove the old wires from the harness and put it in the new one...

Same thing happened to me on day 2 of owning her. I found one plug on the blower motor loose (Wife must of hit it just right as it was working before). Plugged it back in and its been good to go ever since.

I've had the same thing happen to my '05 twice and only had it about 2 weeks at the time. Seems like when I get ready to check it out, it starts working again. I think these things have gremlins in the dash!
