Default Trimming upper control arm mount

I have a 2005 ram 1500 2wd, I have it lifted 13 inches. I have positive camber and my upper control arms are maxed out. I've done some research and found people have trimmed the inside of the upper control arm brackets. will this fix my problem? I'm sceptical on doing this. Is it safe?

Ive never done it to my Ram, but have done it to sports cars to get additional alignment range without adjustable arms...

I would say it depends on how far you are off..I wouldnt take more than a bit of metal off the ends of the eccentric hole. Unless you are very careful it can make your alignment and caster unstable (for example if you cut the holes irregularly)...

Also, dont forget they set both camber and caster using those upper control arm bolts. Personally, since its a truck and you are lifted so high I would avoid it...Id sooner find or make some adjustable arms.
