A/C Condenser Fan running?

Question? 2004 1500 5.7L, notice that in the winter my Aux fan is running on the A/C Condenser radiator. What would cause this to run? I am not circulating the air.....its still cold so the heater is all that is run.

If your vent selector **** Is set to defrost, the AC will always run as the AC system dehumidifies the air.
Turn the vent selector to floor or side vents and the AC condenser fan should stop turning.
