Default Hesitation when accelerating P1038

Hey guys, When I accelerate changing lanes, getting on the highway or merging Ill get a hesitation. Feels the the truck is gonna go then thinks twice and jerks and goes. Only at certain speeds, really bad around 35-50 mph. I have 1 code coming up whic is p0138. 1/2 O2s Shorted to voltage. So its the downstream O2 sensor after the cat. Not sure if its the sensor itself or the wires. Could this be causing my hesitation?

How many miles? I'd guess you could use plugs, maybe wires and a throttle body cleaning. A dose of Sea Foam couldn't hurt.

Its got a little over 160,000. Just did plugs today. I have read that the O2 sensor could cause it but wanted to get maybe someone who has had the same problem.

Just replaced my O2 sensor and reset my PCM. Truck is running better. Now just need to figure out what this clunking noise coming from the front end when engaged in 4x4 is.
