I need to replace another front u-joint on my 06 Mega 1500. I have farmed this job out 4 other times, and now I'm going to tackle it on my own. I figure everything has been taken out and reinstalled multiple times, it should be a breeze. Only thing is, I need to borrow the socket for the axle nut, and I can't remember the size. Does anyone know? I have done a search on the site, but frankly, the search engine doesn't work very well, mostly because of non descript thread titles.

 

Why not try downloading the Service Manual from Weedahoe's signature?

It's 1 11/16" or 36mm for anyone's information. Did the job yesterday, went smoothly.
