On the mopar hood, is the hood latch and hood insulation included? And is the hood metal.

I'm considering replacing my damaged hood wth a srt 10 style snd painted in patriot blue

 

Hood is metal (oem); you reuse your original hood latch; no insulation included (you'd have to buy it separately to install).

 

Will the non srt hood insultion on Joe average Ram fit on the SRT Ram hood?

Im more into the looks than having the Ram air effect, but like the option to do so if my I change my mind..

1100.00 cdn for a quote to repair my dent, For that amount I can live with the cosmetic damage.

Im finding a lot of used hoods for Rams that were swapped out for the SRT 10 hood, I just have not found a patriot blue one..

Its over a grand for a new non painted hood and arround 800.00 for a non painted SRT 10 hood, and Thats a quote from Tower Chrysler here in Calgary, verry odd that the SRT 10 hood is cheaper...

What ever route I go, My grill, Hood latch and all mounting hard ware can be re used..

 

No, the regular hood insulation covers up the hole I think, plus underneath is contoured differently (had to tweak the way my hood light was ran). If you can come up with shipping I'll sell you my old red one, just needs paint. Dunno if it'll be worth it (no dents though).

 

NC to Calgary Alberta Canada, Shipping costs will kill me... I may have found a used hood in patriot blue that will will work for under 300.00 cdn, Im still puzzled as to how my hood incured this dent, I never slam my hood ...

Perhaps my home made CAI sucked in the hood...LOL..
