I just bought an 06 dually and it vibrates when I take off. Does not do it when slowing down or at any other speed so I don't think it is a tire issue but maybe. Has anyone on here ever dealt with this problem or heard of it. Dealer says it is normal. Again, only during acceleration from a dead stop at about 5-10 mph it vibrates for about 2 seconds and then its gone but it can be felt over the whole truck including visor bouncing a little. Not a shake but just a vibration. any help would be appreciated!! This is also my first truck but I don't remember any of the other trucks doing it on the lot but they were also 05's and I know there has been some changes to frame and suspension...not sure what but I was told there is a change...

Somebody else had a similar problem around here, try using the search button to see if you can find it. There was also a TSB for the 2 piece drive shaft that they were using on the diesels in 2003-2004, but I think that they went to a piece unit. The only other thing i can think of is to swap out your U joints with greasable U joints, I know many of the HD diesel guys have done that. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
