Default Shocks

Ok, parts stores dont use books anymore to cross reference. I have a 2006 dodge ram 2500 with a 2 inch lift. I am trying to get monroe or gabriel shocks to replace stock ones. does anyone have a part number for this?

Not sure on the Gabriel, but Rancho is made by the same company as Monroe (Tenneco).

After doing a search online at various auto parts stores, I came up with this for Ranchos.

Front part # for 2 inch lift:
RAN-RS5044
Rear part # for 2 inch lift:
RAN-RS5269

Also, for future reference, please post in the correct section. I will move you to the 3rd Gen Ram section.

I have a 2 1/2" level on mine. Used original shocks for three years. Replaced them with stock-type Monroe Reflex.

Rough Countries are made by Tenneco as well I think. You can check out their website and search by vehicle, etc. I bought a boxed leveling kit from them that included shocks paired for the leveled front end.

Parts stores don't use books anymore because they have computers. They should be able to look up what you need if they have any idea what they are doing. But sadly many of them don't.

@ Jasonw. I see these are for the 1500. Would it be the same for the 2500? And thank you. (:
