After market tranny pan and diff cover?
These after market parts allow you to have more fluid in the tranny and differential. I know that the benefit would be cooler running temps on the tranny and/or diff but would the additional fluid cause more drag on the gears. Probably a silly question but I thought I'd ask.
I am having an issue finding aftermarket differential covers. Not so much to get additional lube in it but to dress it up. I do not want a clear or plain plated cover. Would like a polished aluminum cover, possibly with a Ram head logo or Hemi on it.
I put a tranny temp gauge in my Chevy with the stock pan. Then I switched to the Summit deep Al pan and I noticed the tranny ran about ten degrees cooler on average. I have been looking for one for the Dodge also, but haven't come up with anything.
I doubt you'll get anything out of a bigger differential cover. An axle gets so much cooling as it is going down the road with nothing in front of it. They do look real nice though. A friend of mine has a clear gears cover, It's pretty robust.

They have polished alum here for both tranny and diff. You get slightly higher capacity in the tranny pan and diff cover as well. They both come with magnetic drain plugs which is a nice feature. They'll also tap the tranny pan for an extra charge if you want to put a temp gauge on it.

Rountree Performance Products sells the PML pans a good bit cheaper vs straight from the PML site. Joseph, the person who mans the orders is on vacation through next weekend but still may be returning phone calls at random times through the day. 919-201-6239 is their #.
Something I learned from my nerdy days learning about water cooling computer systems holds true for engines and transmissions, adding more capacity to the cooling system isn't directly proportionate to running cooler, it just takes longer to heat up, unless you have added an extra way to dissipate heat, you are still dissipating the same amount of heat, only from a large volume of liquid (water or oil, whatever) - while it still might be worth the investment, i'd reconsider it based on what you originally intended.

The PML pans are thick aluminum with dissipating fins to help cooling. Plus with the drain plugs in their covers, sure makes changing oil an easy thing to do.
