Drip Drip
Rain water leaks into the cab of the truck (2006 Laramie) through the pillar handles. I was told that the drain holes could be clogged, causing the water to build up and enter the interior of the truck...so where are this drain holes so I can clear this up...
thank you!
thank you!
Check the very top of your windscreen near the roof line.
There should be sealant along that screen edge.
Mine didn't, so I ran a new bead right along there.
Cured my problem which was the same as yours.

It only has drain holes if you have a factory sunroof.
It could be the windshield or it could even be the 3rd brake light housing. They are known to leak. I took mine out, ran a bead of clear windshield sealer/silicon around the surface where it touches the truck. Let it set up, then reinstalled the light. No more leaks.

I've resealed half of the windshield, and the complete 3rd brake light housing...
Alright..the hoses have been cleaned and cleared. I have found the obvious problem though...the sunroof isn't closing all the way. When I push the button to close it, it'll return forward but won't raise the back end to seal the window completely. It sits lowered down and won't secure.

I found this and thought I'd post it for you to see and for other users to refer to if the same issue happens...

Place the ignition switch in RUN position.
Close all of the doors.
Press and release the vent switch (sunroof should move to vent position).
Once the sunroof has stopped motion at the vent position, press and hold the vent switch for at least 5 seconds to recalibrate the sunroof position.
If the sunroof did not reach the full vent open position, press and hold the vent switch until the full-vent-open position is reached then release the vent switch, then press and hold the vent switch for at least 5 seconds to recalibrate the sunroof position.
Cycle the sunroof from the full-vent-open position to the full-slide-open position and back to the full-vent-open position at least 7 complete times. The sunroof is now in customer mode with the obstacle detection thresholds updated.
I have an 06 Big Horn. It doesn't have a sun roof but mine leaks too. I found where mine is leaking though. Its coming in from crappy factory cab lights and dripping out of the catch for the sun visor. just a thought if you have Cab lights.
I have a 2005 Ram that had the same problem. I solved it by removing the rubber trim strips on the roof above the rear doors and cleaning the area where the metal joins and sealing it with marine epoxy. I replaced the trim with aftermarket strips, and it has not dripped out of the post since.
