Exclamation Leaking radiator fluid

I have a 2002 1500 4.9L and i'm leaking fluid but its not the actual radiator hose, its the hose right next to it. it is smaller in diameter but i have no idea what it is, and i need to know as soon as possible because its my only truck.

When my dad's last radiator went, it looked like it was coming from a hose when it was actually coming from the side of radiator. The housing split.

Welcome to DF.

Just one correction so that the guys here can you help you better: you can't have a 4.9L... for a 2002, if its a V8, you either have a 4.7L or a 5.9L.

And for future reference:

Take a picture and post it up here.

You will need to use photobucket or some other photo hosting website and post the link, b/c you are new here and have not yet met the post count to attach pictures to your posts.

Once you post up a picture of what you are talking about we can better help you.

Sorry guys it is a 5.9L and I found the problem. It was a hole in my heater core hose. But I got a new one and the truck is running great. Thanks for the helpful tip on how I can post better.
