I have an 05 1500 with a 4.7. The 4.7 is dead. I have a hemi and tranny from an '06 1500. What are the main issues with this swap?

 

There are lots of good threads from people doing this swap, I would suggest finding one of them to look at the process.

There might be some MDS issues going from 05-06, you will definitely need a new ecu and a flash from the dealer. You'll need some engine mounts, a radiator, y-pipe, driveshaft and lots of small random pieces along the way. Its definitely possible, especially if you've got all the wiring and harnesses to go along with your engine and tranny.
