think i'll add some sort of mounting bracket yet.

Put some exhaust wrap or something around the compressor hose that it sits on. I had a k&n intake on my 08 that started rubbing a hole in the hose.

That's a good idea, and what I did. Some exhaust wrap or aluminum tape will keep that hose in good shape. Attaching a bracket to the fame to support the end isn't to hard either. Looks good though! I like putting the sticker from the filter on there, makes it look official, haha.
