Default 2006 Hemi EGR valve?

Does the my 2006 dodge mega cab with the Hemi have an egr valve? I am having the dreaded stalling issue and want to swap this out to see if it helps also. Where is the thermostat, and map sensor located at?

well does it make a difference if the "1500" label sits on a 2500 frame and drivetrain?
like the other MegaCabs

The 1500 mega cab is a gas engine and does have an EGR valve; the 2500/3500 are diesel engines and don't.

On the Hemi the thermostat is in thermostat housing...... just kidding; the housing is located where the LH radiator hose connects to the engine and stock is 195 degrees F.

The best way to explain the MAP sensor location is between and behind the alternator & ac compressor in the intake plenum.

1500 MegaCab gets the 2500/3500 QC/MC version of the 5.7 Hemi engine. No MDS, No EGR. And YES, the Hemi is available right on up to the 3500 dually for those foolish enough, LOL...

Ah yes I'm one of the foolish.Bought a 2006 3500 in mint and I mean mint condition.Show room condition the engine at least.136000km not even been used to pull.Got it for 5k cad.Took it for a testdrive, pristine driver. So bought it.On the way home engine light comes on.No sign of any oil fluctuation, temp, engine noise, not even the famous ticking, drove rest of 30 km home.Restarted in morning no light, drove it 15km on hiway light comes back on.Is this a faulty sensor. If so how could a guy find that sensor,is it a known issue?or a sign of something much more serious.Any advice would be awesome! Just really need it to tow a trailer with excavater to my claim 2x a year.not an everyday driving truck.

You should pull the codes to see what it's complaining about. Otherwise, this elderly thread could add several pages just on speculation.
