Default Electrical issues

A couple months ago I installed a bully dog tuner and was happy with it for maybe a week. A lil after that week I was having to jump start my truck about every 3 days. The battery had corrosion on it so I grumbled about going to get a new battery (ended up needing a new alternator). By this time I had my ABS and break lights on aswell. The guys at ntb serviced my breaks and found nothing wrong, they said the sensor was "effed up". They told me the tuner was causing the problem. Well I've just been driving my truck like that but my inspection is up this month and I doubt I'd pass with those lights on. On another note, last night I realized I can't engage 4wd! I honestly don't think anything is wrong with my 4wd because my truck is mostly street driven and nothing abnormal has happened to it. I believe the **** is screwed up somewhere. Sorry for the long story, I'm curious to if this will be an expensive fix, or merely just blown fuses? Please let me know!

If you take or deprogram the bully dog, does the light go out? If so, do this and pass inspection. If not, then obviously the BD is not the problem and you need to check the sensor. Does your cruise control work?

You have at least 2 ABS sensors. One on the driver side wheel hub, one in the rear carrier and some trucks have one on the pass side wheel hub also.

If you can pull and post the DTC for your problems it can help more. You can use the links in my signature and download the Service Manuals. In it you can keyword search the code or use the ToC/Index to find it and go through the troubleshooting steps

Problem is still here I've just been ignoring it. Just so y'all know THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY BRAKES OR ANTI-LOCKS! This is an electrical problem. 4x4 **** just turns but nothing engages or lights up. Only 2 fastest windshield wiper settings work (wtf is up with that?) when I did the key trick I got a P0513 code. Anybody have experience with this code? By the way my only warning lights that are on are ABS and Brake warning. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you may have something wrong with your programming, like a glitch or something. Thought about going and having it reflashed at the dealer? The bully dog may have screwed it up somehow. Reading this, your problems didn't start until you installed the BD programming.
When I installed my diablo predator tune, upon first startup those same light were on for a min or so. I drove about 20 feet, then they went out. Another reason I'm thinking your programming.

I'm 100% it's the programming brother. After about 3 days of driving after the tune, sh*t hit the fan I was jump starting my truck every day. Turns out my alternator was shot and truck was running only on my battery. The code I got has something to do with a battery to. Think a new battery may fix it?

It's very possible. Have it tested. Been a lot of weird electrical issues on these trucks due to the battery.
