Default 5"7" drop?

Hey guys not sure if this is the right area to post this but here go. I already have a 4"6" drop on my 05 quad cab and have been researching and thinking about turning it in to a 5"7" drop which requires shackles in the back and cutting half a coil in the front. Im hesitant to cut my springs but am really wanting to do this. My questions are has anyone done this? I already camber on my tires and dont want it to be a whole lot worse and will cutting effect my ride? Thanks in advance

Its 2x4 so theres no point in lifting it. Thats why i have my 99 ext cab 4x4 thats lifted on 35's. Best of both worlds.

I started to look down upon you, then saw that you have a 2nd gen.

I wouldn't cut my coils ever.... I don't want to deal with changing the spring rates, as it can have an undesirable result in how the truck handles on the road....

I wouldn't do it personally.... If you want to go that low then you might as well get air bags and take the coils out all together...

Thanks for the input guys. Have considered air bags on the front or all the way around but its expensive lol.

Air Bags are a safe bet, they just add a lot of weight and cost a pretty penny...
