Wheel Spacing help Ballistic Jester
I've got 17 inch black mb chaos wheels on my 2004 dodge ram. They have a -6mm offset and I also have 1.5" Wheel spacers with them. My toyo mt tires are perfectly even with the edge of my bushwacker fender flares that stick out around 1.5-2 inches from the fender. I'm about to buy a set of 17 inch Ballistic Jester wheels with a -12mm offset I believe. Will these still work well with the spacers? If they stick out a little more that's fine but I don't want it to be crazy. How much will -6mm offset more with the new rims make the tires stick out from what they are now? Also these are the ballistic jester wheels that are black with the red ring. Can the red inserts be taken off? Thanks!
Do you have any pics by change? If not that's fine because I'm sure it will look even better. How much farther from the fender flares do they stick out? And does anyone know if the red inserts on the Ballistic Jester wheels can be removed so they are all black? I also may just get camo inserts to match my back window decal.

Calculator ^^
Using that link & assuming you are using the same exact tire size on the new wheel as the old wheel.
Old Backspacing = 115mm (rounded)
New Backspacing = 116mm (rounded)
By Decreasing the offset you are moving the wheel INWARDS towards the hub.
But because you are increasing the wheel width by .5" (12.7mm) you are putting the wheel an extra .25" (6.35mm) outwards (and inwards). Which means you have .35mm (nearly nothing) of less clearance [b/c of the offset] on the inside, and you have 6.35mm extra wheel on the outside.
So go get a caliper and measure 12.35mm and that is where the face of your new wheels should sit. [~.486"]
Hope that answers your question.
