Power Locks Locking/Unlocking while driving
Hey Guys, first post here. Looked around and havent been able to find anything on this issue.
I picked up a truck that needed a bunch of work done. Finally have everything ready to go for inspection except for a power lock issue.
I have a 2004 dodge ram quad cab SLT 5.7L. From the driver side controls all doors lock/unlock normally. From the passenger side the switch works but every now and then the lock will not lock/go down and may require me to push the button a second time for it to lock the doors.
The big issue is while driving i can hear the power locks locking/unlocking. I do not believe the locks are actually locking or going down but I can hear the locking mechanism trying to lock. Sometimes it will happen every few minutes and sometimes it will go 20+ minutes without happening.
I believe it has something to do with the locks locking automatically when you travel at a certain speed but am not sure why they keep doing or trying to do it.
I have locked for lose wires checked and replaced all fuses and it still does it. Has anyone had this issue before?
Thanks for your time!

Pull the door skins off and disconnect the wiring harness to the controls and see if it still does it. If not, you might choose to take apart and repair or replace your switches. If so, check the wiring in the rubber boot from the door to the body
