Default bed liner

This is probably a question that will be laughed at but does anyone know where I can get a suitable but somewhat cheap bed liner for my 05 ram 1500 Daytona quad cab? All the ones I see are 400 bucks or better and I know they sell those rug things for cheaper but I want the full plastic liner. I don't want spray on because I want to be able to take the plastic liner out if I like and still have the nice paint job under it.

I see them occasionally on craigslist. You can also check with some dealerships who might be throwing some out

Not that it bothered me but the paint job doesn't end up all that nice after a few years. I used to take mine out to put the fifth wheel hitch in a few times a year and there's always some dirt and debris that gets under there and scratches things up. If your main goal is to keep the bed looking like new if you take the liner out, then you might not be happy.

Thanks guys There is a place called southern customs near me and they have a pretty good bed liner installed for 180 dollars. I think I'm going to go with it and pray for the best. Thanks again fellas

Yeah... like he^ said.

Plastic bed liners rub just a little bit with the vibration of going down the road. That rubbing slowly takes off the paint where it's rubbing, so it won't look that good underneath it in a few years. If you care about the paint, maybe there's a way you can be pro-active and prevent the rubbing?

Either way, good luck
