Awesome..LOL....I would get the alternator pulley though if I did this...Im waiting on my adapter plate so I can get my 08 intake manifold on...If I could find cams I wouldn't even worry about This underdrive pulley..But I read somewhere that this guy said he gained as much power from the pulley as he did cams.I don't know..I think it was on the Dakota forum...I was just thinking with the e-fan and underdrive pulleys I would really feel a difference...But this is why Im asking...

e-fan = more power and more current needed
UDP = less current provided

I run an efan, aux electric fan, six lights, stereo, ac blower, etc and my alternator never goes over 75% load.

Damn...I don't even know if I want to waste my money on either now.Mine is a 02 4.7...Im already running 4.56's,K&N drop in filter,AirRaid intake tube,70mm Throttle body,Single 3" Magnaflow exhaust including y-pipe,Superchips tuner,I moved the IAT to the intake tube,TMR delete,Sonnax line booster and Im waiting on the adapter plate so I can put my 08 manifold on...I guess I could do headers instead of e-fan...Im stuck.But I don't want to throw money away..What do you guys think

Do they make long tubes for your truck?

Ya know for all you've spent you could have just swapped in a Hemi.

The tuner,gears and exhaust(not saying headers) I can still use on a Hemi if it ever got that far..Which if I had hemi I would have done the same to it...Really that list wasn't all that much..Everywhere I call they want atleast 2k just for the Hemi motor..Gears ran me 600 bucks..And exhaust was a couple hundred..The rest I pretty much got it used for a couple hundred..Even the adapter plates I got for 150..08 intake 80 bucks..So a little over a grand in it..Plus I didn't spend all that at once and I do drive my truck ever day..I have been thinking about another motor but not right now..Only reason I was going to do ae- fan was I hate how loud my truck is..The stock fan is loud as hell..The underdrive pulley I wanted for more torque..Im not making a drag truck..An haven't even raced anything..I just want it to be more comfortable to drive..An When I tow something the power is there..Im not asking for to much out of this truck,Just a little more...
