Hey everyone. I'm looking to see if someone can show me the wiring diagram for my 2003 Ram 2500 5.9l dsl., that will tell me where to hook in to the park light circuit in the interior. I bought some cool little led's that i want to install under the dash to come on when the dash lights do, but I can't find the proper plac to plug onto other that splicing in to existing light wiring. I would sooner plug in to the proper spot if there is one.

 

Pull the Drivers A pillar and there should be a yellow wire in there, that is the dome light. Test to make sure.

If you hook in to that, the lights you install will come on when you unlock the truck, open the door, or turn on the dome light manually.

 

Thanks for the reply Kasper34, but I'm looking for powr for additional lighting from the dash light. I have some soft lighting to put under the dash that I want to run with when the dash lights, tail/park lights are on at night. If you have any ideas where to find that pwoer I would be abliged.

 

Do you have the cup holder light? Mine did not, so if you pull the radio bezel, I found a wire there that is hot when the headlights are turned on. I was told it was for cup holder lights that some models had and some did not.
