Hey guys,
I have a 2007 single cab, short box , 4x4 with a hemi , little upgrading cat back duals and cold air intake and throttle body spacer. Truck has 170 xxxkm
As I drive around I here a rattling noise / consistent ticking noise as I drive around 40 to 50 km and goes away as the truck down shifts into second , I removed the heat sheilds as they were starting to Rust.
Put the truck up on my buddy's hoist and ran it on the hoist , noise was still present and could be herd loudest around the trans the loudest. I removed the inspection plate off the trans and tightened the torq converter bolts and it still didnt fix, have done transmisson relearns and noise is still here and has not got any louder
Any ideas

Had similar noise almost sounded heat shields or bad cats. I couldn't find the problem, but a friend was doing some work for me and he found it. I don't have all the details but it was something to with the flywheel. He also said he has seen when it fails it can tear the Trany away from the engine. Hope this helps
