Default 06 Mega Cab

Hi, Seabee (seabeetaji) new member here and posted a question on new member thread instead of here but also related to the backseat A/C issue is my fan blower switch was unresponsive so replaced the resister and that didn't work either. But I tapped on the resistor and blower motor came on (had to do 2 more times in last month). Question is: did I get a faulty resistor or is it something else and just an accident it came back on? Guess I'll take it back and exchange since warranty is good.

Tapping on it could mean a bad part. It could also mean a bad connection somewhere

There is no separate heat or a/c for the back seat. It is just a duct that is connected to the main plenum in the front. The back seat passengers have no access to heat a/c , or blower speeds. The fact that the vents move up or down has nothing to do with temp, only the direction the wind blows! I would exchange the resistor you purchased if you can, just to eliminate that as an issue. If you still have a problem, it could be your fan switch, or, possibly a problem in your ignition switch. But replace that resistor first, and make sure all connections are tight.
