I'm assuming I won't be adding 17 to 20 quarts due to not flushing? Or am I wrong?

Try this. Granted, it's for a full flush, but hopefully it might help give a little SA.
it did help some but still didn't answer all the questions.lol...

Any brand of ATF+4 tranny fluid? Going to auto zone tomorrow to pick up fluid and filters

Yes any brand will work as long as it's ATF+4.
